The 2022 Virginia Fly & Wine will feature several of the industry’s most prominent anglers, fly tyers, and outdoor authors, including Tom Rosenbauer, Pat Dorsey, Jen Ripple, Wanda Taylor, Capt. Virginia Fly &Wine sponsors include The Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation, Gangler’s Lodge, Harman’s North Fork Cottages, Steam Bell Beer Works, Trout Unlimited, Blue Ridge Outdoors and Norvise. Fly fishing manufacturers, lodges, guides, tourism agencies, wineries, and specialty food companies are among the more than 90 vendors who hail from all over the country. Held at Meadow Event Park, just 15 miles north of Richmond on the site of the state fairgrounds, the Virginia Fly & Wine was the first event of its kind in the country to combine fly fishing and wine tasting. On January 15-16, 2022, the annual Virginia Fly Fishing & Wine Festival will celebrate its 21 st anniversary, drawing anglers from throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic, Ohio, Georgia, South Carolina, and even New York.
